ICN terminal → rail or airport bus → Seoul stay. Check in, eat nearby and rest. For a late arrival, use the night-arrival guide; sightseeing is optional.

Palace in the morning → lunch → Gwangjang Market → same Seoul stay. Swap the palace day if Tuesday is closed. In heavy rain, choose an open indoor museum and reduce walking.
DAY 3 · JEONJU
Seoul → Jeonju
Check out → Yongsan KTX or Central City coach → Jeonju arrival point → local transfer → Jeonju stay. Leave bags at an agreed storage point, then visit Jeondong Cathedral if open and eat nearby.
DAY 4 · JEONJU
Jeonju: heritage and local food
Gyeonggijeon → lunch → Hyanggyo if open → Hanok Village → Jeonju stay. Use Royal Portrait Museum as an indoor alternative, checking access first. The night market is not a nightly activity.
DAY 5 · DEPARTURE
Jeonju → ICN → home
Collect bags → confirmed airport coach from 30 Yuyeon-ro OR booked rail connection via Seoul → exact ICN terminal → airline check-in, security and departure. Reserve this day for the airport. Use the flight-time calculator; an early flight may require changing the final night.

This is different from Jeonju Express Bus Terminal (70 Garinae-ro) and Intercity Bus Terminal (30 Garinae-ro). The route serves ICN T1 then T2; some runs also call at Gimpo.
The city guide quotes about 3 h 50 min. Confirm your date, terminal, travel time and fare in the actual booking. Allow extra time for the hotel-to-terminal leg and road delays.

Rail alternative
Book Jeonju → Seoul Station if available, then AREX to your terminal. If the KTX ends at Yongsan, add the separate transfer to Seoul Station before AREX. Include waits and luggage; train running times alone are not door-to-door time.
For an early flight, check a bookable overnight coach. If the return does not fit, move the final night closer to Seoul/ICN or change the flight. That changes the two-night Jeonju pattern; do not assume two full nights always fit.
Choose practical overnight bases
- Seoul Station area: airport rail and an easy start toward Yongsan; check the exact exit, hills and luggage walk.
- Jongno / Myeongdong: convenient for central sights and meals; add the transfer to Yongsan or Central City on Day 3.
- Jeonju Hanok Village / old centre: close to the places in this itinerary. Confirm bedding, stairs, luggage storage and taxi-accessible pickup with the property.
- Jeonju Station or the airport-limousine terminal area: consider these if they make your booked arrival or departure easier. Check the distance to Hanok Village before choosing.
