Domestic flights

  1. Choose the actual airports

Check the airport name, code and terminal on both ends. Gimpo (GMP) and Incheon (ICN) are different airports; include the transfer if your itinerary uses both.

  2. Compare the whole trip and price

Add the journey to the airport and from the arrival airport to your hotel. Compare the final price including the baggage and other options you need.

  3. Match the passenger details

Use the passenger name required by the airline and check which identification to bring. Review your airline’s check-in, bag-drop and gate deadlines, then save the issued ticket and booking reference.

Intercity trains

  1. Choose stations, not just city names

Seoul, Yongsan, Cheongnyangni and Suseo are different stations. Select the exact departure and arrival stations offered for your journey, then check their locations.

  2. Compare the service shown for your date

Check whether the journey is direct or requires a change. Compare arrival time, seat type and the final fare; a city can have more than one station.

  3. Save the issued ticket and board the right train

Confirm payment and ticket issuance. Save your train number, departure time, carriage and seat, and use the station departure board to find the platform. Keep your ticket available for inspection.

Express & intercity buses

  1. Check express and intercity options

Express buses (고속버스) mainly serve longer city-to-city routes. Intercity buses (시외버스) also cover regional destinations and may make intermediate stops. Check the actual service and stops shown.

  2. Check the terminal on the ticket

Seoul Express Bus Terminal, Central City and Dong Seoul are not interchangeable. Save the terminal’s Korean name and address, and check the departure bay when you arrive.

  3. Confirm payment, pickup and luggage

Use the payment options offered for your route. Follow the ticket’s QR, printing or counter-pickup instructions; bring any card or ID required for collection. Ask staff where to load luggage and collect it at your destination.

Before booking any journey

Choose the right place

Save the airport, station or terminal name in Korean, plus your final destination address. Allow time for local transport at both ends.

Check card and contact details

Check whether the selected booking channel accepts your overseas card and reachable phone number. If payment fails, check ticket and payment status before trying again; ask the operator about another channel or a staffed counter.

Check changes, cancellations and luggage

Read the conditions for your specific ticket, including cancellation fees and luggage. Save the booking reference and keep enough time between separately booked journeys.
