Smoking areas at the airport
Use only a designated Smoking Area. Pick a location on the same side of security as you: public-area locations are outside the terminal, while gate locations are after security.
Before security
The official directory lists outdoor Smoking Areas near Terminal 1 exits 2–3 and 12–13 on 1F, and exits 1–2 and 13–14 on 3F. Terminal 2 also lists public-area locations near its exits; open the live directory for the terminal and exit closest to you.
After security
The directory lists Terminal 1 areas near gates 9, 12, 15, 40 and 45; Concourse areas near gates 108, 112 and 127; and Terminal 2 areas near gates 208, 212, 220, 223, 225, 235, 254, 264, 274, 276, 279, 287 and 291. Use your boarding pass terminal and gate zone, then confirm the closest open room in the operator directory.
Vape lounge
The operator separately lists Vape Lounges near Terminal 1 gate 30, Concourse gate 123 and Terminal 2 gate 247. Do not assume a Vape Lounge accepts all tobacco products; follow the signs and staff instructions there.

Getting to Seoul

Getting to Incheon
For the Incheon Bus Terminal area, compare an AREX All-stop train to Gyeyang followed by Incheon Metro. From Terminal 1, route 303 also calls at the terminal area. Being at an airport in Incheon does not mean you have reached your city destination.

Getting to Daejeon
The coach to Daejeon Complex Terminal reduces transfers for stays in Dong-gu or near the bus terminal. For Daejeon Station, compare AREX plus a KTX from Seoul Station; for Yuseong, search the separate Yuseong coach.

Getting to Cheongju
For the Gagyeong-dong terminal area, take the airport coach to Cheongju. Cheongju North Terminal, Cheongju University and Osong are different destinations, so check the selected terminal against your hotel.

Getting to Sejong
Select Sejong as your stop on the Yuseong-bound airport coach to reach Sejong Terminal. The Government Complex and the terminal are separate stops; choose the one that fits your trip.

Getting to Daegu

Getting to Gangneung
The direct Gangneung coach avoids a train change in Seoul and ends at Gangneung Intercity Terminal. Gangneung Station, Jungang Market, Gyeongpo and Anmok are separate places, so include the local journey to your stay.

Getting to Busan
Choose your Busan arrival hub first. This coach goes to Busan East Terminal at Nopo; for Busan Station, compare AREX plus KTX from Seoul. Sasang and Haeundae have separate airport-coach services.

Getting to Mokpo
The Mokpo airport coach arrives at the city’s bus terminal. Add a local journey for Mokpo Station, Yudalsan, the old centre or the ferry terminal, and compare that with a KTX from Yongsan to Mokpo Station.

Getting to Yeosu

Getting to Suwon
Route 4100 takes you from Incheon Airport to Suwon Station without changing buses. Check that your ticket is for Suwon Station rather than route 4000 to Dongsuwon or route 4100-2 via Homaesil.

Getting to Jeonju
For the Geumam-dong intercity terminal, choose the airport coach to Jeonju Intercity Terminal. Daehan Limousine uses a different arrival point, and Hanok Village accommodation needs a further local journey from either.

Getting to Gyeongju
For central Gyeongju, select Gyeongju Intercity Terminal on a Pohang-bound airport coach. Check the final journey from the bus terminal for Hwangnidan-gil stays; a KTX arrives at the separate Gyeongju Station.

Getting to Andong
The airport coach arrives at Andong Bus Terminal. Check whether your departure runs via Yecheon and the provincial government complex or via Yeongju. Hahoe Village, Woryeonggyo and the old centre need a further journey.
