Find the boarding area for your terminal
At Terminal 1, check area 10 outside the arrivals level; at Terminal 2, check basement Transportation Center bay 4. Use your ticket and the live departure board for the exact bay and confirm your drop-off with the driver.

Check the stops and arrival announcement
Board the Busan East service and check whether your departure calls at Dongnae before Nopo. Sasang and Haeundae coaches arrive in different parts of Busan and require different tickets.

Collect your bags and make the final local journey
From Nopo, compare metro and local connections to Seomyeon, Nampo or Busan Station. For Haeundae or Gwangalli, include the final transfer and walk; Nopo is not Busan Station.

Check the onward departure station at Seoul
Follow the KTX and mainline-train signs at Seoul Station. AREX tickets are not valid on KORAIL trains; check your separate ticket’s departure station and train number.

Check your ticket to Busan Station
Check the departure station, train number and seat on your pre-booked ticket from Seoul Station to Busan Station. Allow for airport arrival formalities and transfers when choosing the connection, then check the departure board before boarding.

Board your connecting train
Find your booked train’s platform on the departure board and board the carriage and seat shown on your ticket. AREX and mainline trains use different platforms, so allow time to walk through the station.

Continue from the station to your stay
From Busan Station, look up a bus, taxi or walking route to your stay. This is a different arrival point from Busan Central Bus Terminal · Nopo; plan the station-to-hotel journey separately.
Use Korea time (KST). Check the service from your arrival terminal after immigration and baggage claim. For connections, check the last departure of every leg, not just the first train or bus.

Busan East means the central coach terminal at Nopo. It is separate from Busan Station, so compare a local connection from Nopo with a KTX via Seoul for a stay near the station.
Should I book Busan East for a hotel in Sasang?
Look up the Busan West coach to Sasang first. The airport lists Busan East, Busan West and Busan Haeundae separately; match the arrival terminal to your hotel area.
Do I need another journey from Nopo to Haeundae?
Yes. This service ends at Nopo. Continue by metro, bus or taxi, or compare the separate airport coach to Busan Haeundae.
Is my AREX ticket also valid on the KTX to Busan?
AREX and KTX need separate tickets. Choose your KTX departure after allowing for immigration, baggage, AREX waiting and the walk through Seoul Station; check the train number and seat separately.
