From either terminal’s arrivals hall, follow Airport Railroad signs to the basement Transportation Center. Find the rail concourse and Express signs rather than the bus ticket counters.

Buy an Express ticket to Seoul Station
Use the official booking service or Express customer centre to select your terminal and Seoul Station. Express requires its own ticket; check the train number, carriage and seat.

Use the Express ticket gates
Enter through the Express gates with your ticket and proceed to the indicated platform and assigned seat. Check the train type before boarding.

Continue towards your stay at Seoul Station
At Seoul Station, choose a subway, city bus or taxi route to the hotel’s address. For a KTX connection, check the separate ticket and departure area and allow for the station walk.

In your terminal’s basement Transportation Center, follow the All-stop signs and check the Seoul Station direction. These gates are separate from Express.

Prepare a transit card or destination ticket
Check your transit-card balance or select your actual final station at the ticket machine. If continuing on the subway beyond Seoul, check the fare to that final station.

Board an All-stop train towards Seoul Station
Check the platform sign for Seoul Station and board an All-stop service. It stops at Hongik University, Gongdeok and other stations; confirm the right stop if your hotel route changes.

Check exits and onward lines at Seoul
At Seoul Station, plan the subway transfer, bus, taxi or walk to the hotel’s exact address. A map marker is not the hotel entrance; check the final walking leg.
Use Korea time (KST). Check the service from your arrival terminal after immigration and baggage claim. For connections, check the last departure of every leg, not just the first train or bus.

The main arrival reference is Seoul Station. A city name alone is not a hotel address. Use the actual stop on your ticket and the Korean accommodation address from your booking.

Express uses its own ticket and assigned seating. It is separate from All-stop transit-card and single-use tickets; check the ticket type before entering.
Does arriving at Seoul Station mean I have reached Myeongdong or Gangnam?
You need an onward journey. Look up subway, bus or taxi directions using the hotel address; Myeongdong, Hongdae and Gangnam have separate airport guides.
Do I need to continue to Seoul Station for a stay in Hongdae?
All-stop trains call at Hongik University. For a Hongdae stay, compare that stop and the final walk before planning a journey all the way to Seoul Station.
Does an AREX ticket include a KTX connection?
KTX requires a separate ticket. Allow for immigration, baggage, AREX waiting and the walk through Seoul Station, then confirm the train number and platform.
