In the official booking service, select the terminal you are arriving at and confirm the destination as Dongdaegu Bus Terminal. Check the date, class and ticket-collection instructions, allowing for the airport arrival process.

Find the boarding area for your terminal
At Terminal 1, check area 10 outside the arrivals level; at Terminal 2, check basement Transportation Center bay 3. Use your ticket and the live departure board for the exact bay and confirm your drop-off with the driver.

Check the stops and arrival announcement
Check that the ticket says Dongdaegu and listen for the Daegu East arrival. Coaches to Daegu North or Gyeongsan serve different areas and intermediate stops.

Collect your bags and make the final local journey
For a train connection, continue to the correct platform at Dongdaegu Station. For Dongseong-ro or Banwoldang, look up a metro, bus or taxi route and allow for the walk through the station and terminal complex.

Check the onward departure station at Seoul
Follow the KTX and mainline-train signs at Seoul Station. AREX tickets are not valid on KORAIL trains; check your separate ticket’s departure station and train number.

Check your ticket to Dongdaegu Station
Check the departure station, train number and seat on your pre-booked ticket from Seoul Station to Dongdaegu Station. Allow for airport arrival formalities and transfers when choosing the connection, then check the departure board before boarding.

Board your connecting train
Find your booked train’s platform on the departure board and board the carriage and seat shown on your ticket. AREX and mainline trains use different platforms, so allow time to walk through the station.

Continue from the station to your stay
From Dongdaegu Station, look up a bus, taxi or walking route to your stay. This is a different arrival point from Dongdaegu Bus Terminal; plan the station-to-hotel journey separately.
Use Korea time (KST). Check the service from your arrival terminal after immigration and baggage claim. For connections, check the last departure of every leg, not just the first train or bus.

Choose Dongdaegu for the station and terminal area. Daegu North is a different arrival point; compare it with the hotel’s address before booking.
Does the airport coach stop at my hotel near Dongseong-ro?
This guide ends at Dongdaegu Bus Terminal. Dongseong-ro and Banwoldang need a separate metro or taxi journey.
Can I connect to a train at Dongdaegu?
You can continue to Dongdaegu Station, but the bus drop-off and train platform are not the same place. Allow for the walk through the terminal and station when choosing your connecting train.
Is Dongdaegu the best arrival point for Gyeongsan?
The airport lists a separate Gyeongsan coach. Compare its drop-off with a local connection from Dongdaegu for your actual destination.
