At Terminal 1, check area 13 outside the arrivals level; at Terminal 2, check basement Transportation Center bay 10. Use your ticket and the live departure board for the exact bay and confirm your drop-off with the driver.

The published route includes Gimpo Airport and Pyeongchang Rest Area. Check your departure’s intermediate stops and collect your luggage when it arrives at Gangneung Intercity Terminal.

Look up a city bus or taxi from the terminal to Jungang Market, Wolhwa Street, Gyeongpo Beach or Anmok Coffee Street. For a coastal stay, use the property’s address and entrance rather than just Gangneung.

Follow the KTX and mainline-train signs at Seoul Station. AREX tickets are not valid on KORAIL trains; check your separate ticket’s departure station and train number.

Check the departure station, train number and seat on your pre-booked ticket from Seoul Station to Gangneung Station. Allow for airport arrival formalities and transfers when choosing the connection, then check the departure board before boarding.

Board your connecting train
Find your booked train’s platform on the departure board and board the carriage and seat shown on your ticket. AREX and mainline trains use different platforms, so allow time to walk through the station.

Continue from the station to your stay
From Gangneung Station, look up a bus, taxi or walking route to your stay. This is a different arrival point from Gangneung Intercity Bus Terminal; plan the station-to-hotel journey separately.
Use Korea time (KST). Check the service from your arrival terminal after immigration and baggage claim. For connections, check the last departure of every leg, not just the first train or bus.

This coach arrives at Gangneung Intercity Terminal. A train connection needs a separate journey to Gangneung Station; a KTX from Seoul arrives at the station.
Does the coach go via Gimpo Airport?
Gimpo Airport appears in the published Gangneung route. Check your departure’s stops and estimated time; a direct coach does not necessarily mean a nonstop service.
Can I walk from the terminal to a hotel at Gyeongpo Beach?
This journey ends at the intercity terminal. Gyeongpo is a separate coastal destination; compare a bus or taxi to the hotel address based on your luggage and arrival time.
Should I book the same airport coach for Gangneung and Jumunjin?
The airport lists Gangneung and Jumunjin separately. For Jumunjin, check that service’s stops and drop-off, then compare it with a connection from Gangneung Terminal.
