Gyeongbuk stretches across Silla heritage, traditional villages, mountain landscapes and the East Sea coast. Gyeongju’s burial mounds and Bulguksa Temple introduce ancient history and Buddhist culture, while Hahoe Village in Andong preserves a landscape of traditional homes. The paths of Mungyeongsaejae, the rugged scenery of Juwangsan and the gardens of the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum in Bonghwa reveal different sides of the region’s nature. Historic walks and forest visits sit comfortably alongside one another here.
